We are seeking a skilled Prep Cook to join our team at Slater's 50/50 in Denver. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing our restaurant for service by ensuring that products are prepped, stocked, and safely stored.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute prep recipes accurately and efficiently
  • Prepare food according to preparation schedules and maintain a clean and organized prep area
  • Ensure proper food storage and safety, and maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition
  • Receive and store supplies, and transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
  • Perform line sweeps and trash changes as needed, and maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas
  • Stock supplies such as food and utensils on cook lines, refrigerators, and storage areas
  • Follow all safety standards and proper food safety and sanitation policies

Requirements:

  • Adequate skills and experience to perform job duties
  • Food handlers card
  • Able to stand for 8 hours and lift and carry racks or stacks of dishes, glassware, and other utensils weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to work in a hot, damp environment and follow all policies and procedures
