Job DescriptionAs a Senior User Experience (UX) Director, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of fintech innovation at BNY. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading design thinking workshops and ideation sessions to spark creative problem-solving and build consensus among team members and stakeholders.
- Leveraging your expertise in user journey and experience mapping to visualize and analyze user interactions, deliver service designs, and uncover opportunities for improvement.
- Developing personas, wireframes, and prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts and user flows, iterating based on stakeholder feedback and usability testing results.
- Partnering with cross-functional stakeholders, product managers, and development teams to deeply understand and define user needs, business goals, and project requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in UX design, with experience in the global financial services or fintech industry.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop structured solutions that meet business objectives.
- Demonstrable proficiency in user journey mapping techniques, design thinking methodologies, and facilitating ideation workshops.
- Solid understanding of user-centered, service design principles and best practices.
- Experience with user research, usability testing, and data-driven design decision making.
