We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at Medline Industries. This role will be responsible for ensuring proper inventory stocking across all branches, coordinating with Product Managers and Inventory Management to develop action plans that provide exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate inventory levels, including surplus, stock transfers, returns, and DEDs, to ensure optimal inventory management.
  • Review and approve all DED requests to ensure accurate and efficient inventory management.
  • Work with the Accounts Payable team to resolve any vendor discrepancies and ensure timely payment.
  • Provide product information to the sales force and offer Medline preferred cross-reference literature brochures.
  • Assist with overflow calls from the Product Support team and provide support as needed.
  • Review and analyze inventory reports, including back order reports, surplus reports, customer requested product stocking, HOTSHEETS, and open Purchase Order reports.
  • Process all returns and review AP issues with vendors, including overbill notices, problem tickets, debit memos, and credits.

Requirements:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Experience:

  • At least 1 year of relevant business or administrative support experience.
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel, including using SUM functions, setting borders, and inserting charts.
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Access, including designing and creating simple queries and modifying data types.
  • Intermediate analysis and math skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
