MMC Group is seeking a highly skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our team for a travel assignment in Rochester, New York.

About the Role:

We are looking for a certified Sterile Processing Technician with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a large hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in decontamination, high-level disinfection, and sterilization of surgical instruments. Travel experience is a must, with a minimum of 6 months of experience in a travel position.

Responsibilities:
  • Decontaminate and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
  • Prepare and assemble instrument trays and pans
  • Operate and maintain sterilization equipment
  • Collaborate with the sterile processing team to ensure efficient and effective processing
Requirements:
  • Certified Sterile Processor (HSPA or CBSPD)
  • BLS certification
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician
  • Large hospital experience (500 bed plus)
  • Travel experience (6 months minimum)
