We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Operations Specialist in Invasive Cardiology. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in cardiology and procedural experience to drive quality improvement and educational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Quality Improvement: Assess internal and external needs, develop and implement quality improvement programs, and evaluate services and activities to ensure alignment with professional standards and institutional guidelines.
- Education and Training: Develop and organize educational programs for Invasive Cardiology staff, including leadership and NECs, and ensure timely education for clinical research coordinators.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Establish and maintain working relationships with leaders across UVA Health, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and demonstrate leadership in the delivery of services.
- Administrative Management: Organize and track continuing education, support clinical research coordinators, and ensure a safe environment and safe delivery of services.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program required; Bachelor's of Science in Nursing Degree preferred.
- 3 years relevant experience; Cardiology or procedural experience preferred.
- Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia required.
We offer a competitive compensation range of $34.61 – $55.38 Hourly, a Monday – Friday schedule with no weekends or holidays, and a comprehensive benefits package.
