Role Summary

The Technical Integrator plays a crucial role in advancing cross-disciplinary engineering initiatives by leveraging their technical expertise to assess risks, gather data, and facilitate solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct technical and configuration studies while resolving complex issues.
  • Manage risks and issues, implementing Root Cause Corrective Actions.
  • Coordinate technical aspects of testing and inspection requests.
  • Oversee technical documentation for aircraft projects.
  • Integrate engineering insights into directives effectively.
  • Provide oversight and support for Configuration Management in aircraft programs.
  • Lead general project initiatives and support.
Justification

This position represents a new opportunity within the 777X program for ALIT.

Qualifications

Experience: A minimum of 10 years in Aircraft Design and Integration roles.

The candidate will lead technical integration efforts, develop comprehensive plans, establish performance metrics, monitor technical advancements, execute risk and opportunity management, and oversee project completion.

They will also be responsible for creating and managing a Microsoft Project schedule (using MPP) and reporting on status across various systems, prioritizing tasks along the critical path.

The role involves leading the Airplane Level Integration Team (ALIT) in establishing engineering operational processes.

Additionally, the candidate will manage cross-functional projects throughout the airplane lifecycle in support of the Engineering Team.

Change Control Board (CCB): Lead the integration of new engineering changes and conduct trade studies.

Familiarity with certification processes is essential.

Configuration Management: Transition the program from development to production effectively.

The Technical Integrator will serve as the primary project contact, ensuring alignment with key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in an accredited engineering discipline (Mechanical/Aeronautical/Aerospace).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with Boeing Commercial Aircraft products is preferred.
