Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic radiographic examinations, operating complex diagnostic equipment, and ensuring that routine and priority tasks are completed within established departmental time frames.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations, including routine and specialized procedures, to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers.
  • Operate complex diagnostic equipment, including stationary and mobile units, to capture accurate and detailed images.
  • Ensure that all procedures are completed in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to departmental standards and protocols.
  • Prepare and assist physicians during invasive procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, including medical history, examination results, and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • Current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse patient populations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, with a rotating weekend schedule. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
