Job Summary

The Sports Coordinator Soccer is a key role in our organization, responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports experience for players and coaches. This position requires building relationships with players, parents, and coaches while ensuring the instructional aspects of our program are delivered.

Responsibilities
  • Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
  • Teach and demonstrate core concepts, including sportsmanship values
  • Supervise the overall operation of designated sports on game day
  • Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
  • Assist coaches and teams with practices and drills to enhance learning
  • Referee games on small-sided fields to ensure player safety and enforcement of game rules for each sport
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Sport-specific coaching experience and knowledge
  • Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently and solve problems
  • Awareness and ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players
  • Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships
  • Ability to work a varied work schedule, including weekends and some evenings
  • Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check
