Licensed Psychiatric Technician

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Psychiatric Technician to join our team at Wellpath. As a key member of our mental health care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including basic nursing services, medication administration, and communication skills for patient care and education.
- Collect and contribute to the evaluation of individualized interventions for mental health patients in accordance with their care or treatment plan.
- Maintain communication with Psych RN, LCSW/LMFT, MD/psychiatrist, or NP/PA regarding patients' mental health needs while maintaining confidentiality.
- Assist with electronic data input and data gathering, continuity of care, discharge planning, attendance in program meetings, and gathering persons served identification and social information.
- Current (and must maintain) unrestricted LPT license, certification or registration in state of practice.
- Current (and must maintain) lifesaving BLS certification through AHA.
- 1-3 years post-licensure experience required.
