Job Summary

As a Licensed Psychiatric Technician/Licensed Vocational Nurse II/III, you will provide professional behavioral health or nursing care functions to patients in an outpatient, forensic, or community setting. You will work under the direction of experienced professionals and be responsible for providing a variety of services, including assessments, interventions, and education.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional behavioral health or nursing care functions to patients in an outpatient, forensic, or community setting.
  • Work under the direction of experienced professionals to provide assessments, interventions, and education.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of patients.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and services.
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess an active license as a Psychiatric Technician or as a Vocational Nurse with the California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians. You will also need to have a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience as a Psychiatric Technician or two years of post-licensure experience in the Behavioral Health field for the LVN II role. For the LVN III role, you will need to have a minimum of four years of post-licensure experience as a Psychiatric Technician or four years of post-licensure experience in the Behavioral Health field.
