We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Banquet Server to join our Food and Beverage team at Hay Creek Hotels. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring that every event is a success.
Key Responsibilities:- Set up and break down events according to the Banquet Event Order (BEO) and floor plan outlines, including moving and stacking tables and chairs, setting linens, flatware, and glassware, arranging decor, and setting and breaking down buffet lines.
- Service events according to the BEO timing and direction from the Banquet Captain.
- Provide bottled wine service to tables according to standards.
- Tend to stationary hors d'oeuvres or perform passed hors d'oeuvre service to guests.
- Act as client contact when assigned.
- Clear the meeting room, including stationary in-room trays and covered carts to break down buffets. Sort and assist the culinary team with breaking down and addressing excess banquet food.
- Act as buffet runner, effectively communicating to the culinary staff when additional food items are needed in the event space.
- Maintain proper storage of banquet decor, tools, linens, and equipment.
- Complete designated pre-event, side work, and post-event tasks efficiently and thoroughly.
