About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Application Developer to join our team in Topeka, KS. As a GIS Application Developer, you will provide technical assistance and guidance for capturing, modeling, and analyzing geographical and tabular data to illustrate and determine spatial relationships as it pertains to client projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical support to a project team, including debugging others' code.
- Coordinate and develop software applications for engineering, environmental, and GIS.
- Analyze and develop solutions to improve upon existing proprietary applications.

Requirements

- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field (experience may be substituted for degree).
- 3-5 years relevant work experience.
- Minimum 2 years of real-world application development experience.
- Demonstrated experience developing solutions in C# and .NET.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience developing custom software, applications, and plugins for ArcGIS and HEC-RAS software packages.
- Familiarity with Python, QGIS, and OSGEO.
