About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer - GIS to join our team at WSP. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications for engineering, environmental, and GIS projects. Your expertise in C# and.NET will be essential in creating innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement software applications for GIS and engineering projects
* Collaborate with project teams to identify and develop solutions to improve existing proprietary applications
* Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, including debugging and troubleshooting

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field
* 3-5 years of relevant work experience in software development
* Minimum 2 years of experience developing solutions in C# and.NET
* Ability to learn new programming languages and frameworks quickly

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience developing custom software, applications, and plugins for ArcGIS and HEC-RAS software packages
* Familiarity with Python, QGIS, and OSGEO
* Familiarity with cloud computing and IT infrastructure
