Job Title: Direct Care Staff

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Care Staff to join our team at CCARC INC. As a Direct Care Staff, you will play a vital role in providing direct care to individuals with special needs in a day program setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide and receive effective, respectful, and courteous verbal and written communications to and from teams related to the care of participants.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain neat, accurate, and comprehensive written assessment records, annual reviews, and biannual or quarterly reviews as needed.
  • Provide essential physical and emotional care to participants, including assisting with personal care, hygiene, and treatments, and providing education on personal hygiene, grooming, and behavioral conduct.
  • Coordinate and lead social and recreational activities, including safe transportation of participants.
  • Maintain cleanliness of program spaces and ensure the proper use of equipment, facilities, and vehicles.
  • Monitor individuals at mealtime according to food consistency guidelines and ensure the safety of all individuals, self, and others.
  • Attend and participate in mandatory training, in-services, staff meetings, and conferences as required.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Valid Driver's License and insurable with Agency carrier
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Experience with Microsoft products and use of email
