Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs, and develop individualized plans of care to address these needs.
  • Coordination of Care: Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, including patient and family education, family needs, and discharge planning.
  • Direct Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, including treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies, according to policy and procedure.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and promote a positive patient experience.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety, and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to promote best practices.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Experience in behavioral health nursing, preferably in an inpatient or outpatient setting.
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients and tasks.
