Key Responsibilities:
- Formulating technical strategies for wastewater treatment, selecting appropriate processes, and establishing design criteria.
- Assisting in the preparation and development of project proposals.
- Identifying, recruiting, and mentoring junior engineers in the wastewater sector.
- Engaging directly with clients to ensure their needs are met.
- Collaborating with internal specialists across various disciplines to ensure effective project delivery.
- Overseeing projects to align with client expectations, budget constraints, and quality standards.
- Adhering to internal processes to guarantee the successful execution of engineering projects.
- Taking technical responsibility for organizing and coordinating tasks on small to medium-scale projects.
- Conducting planning, studies, and design work, and providing support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitoring project progress and outcomes, recommending adjustments to meet overall objectives.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in delivering multi-year projects within collaborative, interdisciplinary teams.
- Expertise in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and regulatory bodies.
- Detail-oriented self-starter with robust organizational capabilities.
- Aptitude for presenting complex technical issues to non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Over 12 years of experience in wastewater treatment projects is highly desirable.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
Additional Credentials:
- A Master's Degree or PhD in Civil or Environmental Engineering is advantageous.
