We are seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Pre-Construction to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the pre-construction process, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend Pre-Bid Meetings and Site Visits: Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to ensure that all project requirements are met and that all stakeholders are informed.
  • Review Bid Requirements: Review bid requirements for projects to ensure that all aspects of the project are documented and accounted for.
  • Prepare Takeoffs and Secure Pricing: Prepare takeoffs and work with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing.
  • Manage Subcontractor Relationships: Identify, manage, and maintain relationships with subcontractors to ensure that bids are completed timely, completely, and accurately.
  • Develop Client Relationships: Develop and sustain working relationships with clients through direct communication.
  • Turn Over Bid Documents: Properly turn over bid documents and sub/supplier buyout information to the Project Manager in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Multi-family construction experience
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
