As an essential member of our team, the Healthcare Equipment Technician collaborates directly with our commercial clients to install and configure their Integrated Security systems, including fire and security measures. The Technician is also responsible for disassembling and reassembling equipment as needed.
Responsibilities include:
- Safely dismantling and reconstructing equipment as directed by the client or Johnson Controls International.
- Ensuring a safe work environment to prevent injuries, property damage, and waste of materials while maintaining a clean installation site.
- Communicating with clients prior to scheduled installations to confirm arrangements.
- Testing system operations to ensure proper connection to the signal-receiving center.
- Interpreting building, electrical, and sprinkler blueprints as necessary.
- Coordinating with local police and fire departments and managing required documentation for emergency notifications.
- Potentially overseeing installation teams for larger assignments.
- Travel is required, utilizing the company-provided vehicle and equipment.
Qualifications:
~ Technical school training is advantageous.
~ 3-5 years of relevant experience with proven mechanical skills.
~ Commitment to safe operation of fleet vehicles.
~ Certifications in Access Control and CCTV are preferred.
