Field Service Engineer for Industrial Equipment

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is on the lookout for a dedicated Industrial Field Service Technician to take on a long-term position with a company that specializes in the installation, enhancement, and maintenance of palletizing machinery across North America.
This role entails significant travel, with expectations of being on the road 75-90% of the time.
Compensation: $30-$40 per hour, plus overtime and per diem.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver exceptional customer service through positive engagement.
- Accept assignments that may require both domestic and international travel, including Canada, often with little notice.
- Complete tasks to the satisfaction of clients and secure necessary approvals.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies.
- Support shop startups and provide technical assistance via phone.
- Maintain clear communication with the Field Service Manager and team regarding job status and any challenges encountered.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Uphold confidentiality and manage pressure to meet deadlines.
- Travel safely and efficiently using various modes of transportation.
- Possess knowledge of motion control systems, operator interface design, and safety circuitry.
- At least two years of experience with large-scale equipment design and operations.
- Strong mechanical skills with experience in electromechanical systems.
- A minimum of five years of experience in electrical troubleshooting, particularly with control panel wiring and sensors.
- At least three years of experience with Allen Bradley PLCs or equivalent systems.
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP/MRP software.
- Possess a current passport or the ability to obtain one.
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Able to bend, stoop, twist, and squat as needed.
- Visual acuity to ensure quality and precision in work.
- Hourly wage of $30-$40.
