Key Qualifications:
- Minimum age requirement: 21 years
Core Responsibilities:
- Implement and oversee behavioral and skill development strategies tailored to individual treatment plans utilizing the Psycho-Educational Model (PEM)
- Exemplify healthy relationships with both youth and colleagues
- Instruct on meal preparation and essential life skills
- Participate in consultation meetings
- Ensure a secure and nurturing environment for youth
- Assist in managing the medical and physical needs of the youth
- Contribute to the preparation of youth assessments and documentation
- Support the processing of intake and discharge paperwork for youth
- Engage in Safe Crisis Management when necessary
- Maintain updated records for youth
- Join in shift transition discussions
- Attend weekly team meetings and daily debriefing sessions
- Transport youth to various locations including educational institutions, appointments, and recreational activities
Compensation Details:
Starting at $18.00 per hour, with an additional $3.00 per hour shift differential. Further compensation may be available based on relevant residential experience and/or a Bachelor's degree.
Educational Background:
- High school diploma or GED, or one to three months of pertinent experience, or a combination of education and experience
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, database management software, training applications, and timekeeping systems is essential.
