Position Overview: We are seeking a talented Foundry Equipment Project Engineer to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee and implement projects focused on custom-engineered vibrating equipment for foundries and other heavy industrial sectors. Your expertise in foundry processes and engineering will be essential in ensuring project success and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and estimate costs for custom foundry equipment, ensuring compliance with client specifications.
  • Create detailed technical specifications and proposals that encompass both technical and financial aspects.
  • Conduct and supervise testing of materials as per customer requirements, including processes such as casting cooling and sand screening.
  • Guide the creation of engineering drawings for equipment, ensuring they meet both customer approval and manufacturing standards.
  • Review and enhance equipment manuals, providing clear operational instructions for foundry equipment.
  • Provide technical support to internal teams and clients, addressing any field issues that may arise.
  • Efficiently manage multiple projects, delegating tasks as necessary and ensuring timely completion.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including internal departments, sales teams, and customers, to drive project success.
  • Ensure all documentation meets customer requirements and is completed accurately.
  • Assist in the startup of equipment, either remotely or on-site.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in foundry or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, casting technologies, and foundry operations.
  • Proficient in software applications such as MS Office and MathCAD; familiarity with AutoCAD is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel domestically or internationally as required.
