The 12-bed Pulmonary Unit at Piedmont Healthcare is located on the 6th floor of the new Main Tower. As a Registered Nurse on this unit, you will work closely with hospitalists, pulmonologists, and respiratory therapists to provide top-notch care for patients with acute and chronic respiratory issues.
In this state-of-the-art facility, you will provide high-quality nursing care to acute care patients utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of patients. You will function within the framework of the policies and procedures of Piedmont Healthcare and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.
Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients.
Function within the framework of the policies and procedures of Piedmont Healthcare and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.
Maintain standards of practice, coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
Qualifications:
Graduate of a nursing program
New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/Multistate License. BLS certification required.
Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable. Bachelor's degree preferred. Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred.
