LPN - Acute Care Specialist

Piedmont HealthCare is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in the Acute Care department. As an LPN, you will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or provider, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with Piedmont Healthcare's Mission and Vision Statements.
Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with Piedmont Healthcare's Mission and Vision Statements.
• Function within the framework of your license and the policy and procedures of the organization, demonstrating professional growth and accountability.
• Guide ancillary staff and collaborate with other healthcare professionals in the provision of quality nursing care.
Qualifications:
• Graduate of an LPN program.
• New graduates of an accredited nursing school are eligible.
• Current License in the State of Georgia as a LPN or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BLS certification required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Demonstrated clinical competency in the specialty area applying for.
• Nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• If working in the Emergency Department, ALS/ACLS and PALS certification required (LPNs new to specialty will complete applicable certifications within 6 months of start date).
