Your Role at Sephora: As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Store Manager in overseeing all store operations, ensuring an exceptional level of client service, and driving sales performance. You will assist in leading a team of committed associates, fostering a positive work culture that promotes growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Store Manager in managing daily store operations, ensuring a seamless and efficient client experience.
  • Aid in developing and executing strategies to enhance store sales and boost profitability.
  • Assist in coordinating and supervising sales performance, service quality, and operational efficiency.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Assist in guiding, coaching, and motivating a team of associates to achieve or surpass sales objectives.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, manage employee development, and provide continuous feedback.
  • Support the leadership team, ensuring effective collaboration and accomplishment of store goals.

Client Satisfaction and Service:

  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through exceptional service.
  • Address client concerns and provide suitable resolutions.
  • Support client loyalty initiatives and services to enhance client engagement.

Store Standards and Compliance:

  • Maintain exemplary store conditions and visual merchandising standards.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures to uphold a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Uphold Sephora brand excellence in-store, ensuring a consistent and high-quality client experience.

Resource Management:

  • Assist in managing inventory levels to guarantee product availability.
  • Support the Store Manager in resource allocation and staffing, ensuring optimal productivity and performance.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Proven successful experience as a retail assistant manager.
  • 3-5 years of experience managing a high volume, complex retail, or hospitality setting.
  • Strong leadership skills and business acumen.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A knack for attracting, identifying, and inspiring employees.
  • Flexible availability to work a retail schedule.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, bend/stretch to stock shelves, stand/walk the sales floor for entire shift and work in a fragrance filled environment & can handle and apply products to clients-with or without accommodation.
  • Adherence to Sephora's dress code and policies in the Sephora Employee Handbook.

Compensation and Benefits: The annual base salary range for this position is $62,000 to $81,000. The actual base salary offered depends on various factors, including the applicant's qualifications, years of relevant experience, specific skills, level of education, certifications, and geographic location. Individuals in this position may also be eligible for bonuses.
