Your Role at Sephora: As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Store Manager with the overall operations of the store, ensuring exceptional client service and driving sales performance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Store Manager in managing daily store operations to guarantee a seamless client experience.
  • Assist in formulating and executing strategies aimed at boosting store sales and enhancing profitability.
  • Help coordinate and oversee sales performance, service standards, and operational efficiency.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Aid in leading, coaching, and motivating a team of associates to achieve or surpass sales objectives.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, manage employee growth, and provide continuous feedback.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure effective teamwork and attainment of store goals.

Client Satisfaction and Service:

  • Guarantee high levels of client satisfaction through outstanding service delivery.
  • Address client concerns and offer suitable resolutions.
  • Support client loyalty initiatives to foster engagement and retention.

Store Standards and Compliance:

  • Maintain exemplary store conditions and visual merchandising standards.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures to create a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Uphold the Sephora brand's excellence in-store, ensuring a consistent and high-quality client experience.

Resource Management:

  • Assist in managing inventory levels to guarantee product availability.
  • Support the Store Manager in resource allocation and staffing to optimize productivity and performance.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Proven experience as a retail assistant manager.
  • 3-5 years of experience in managing a high-volume, complex retail or hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and business insight.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A talent for attracting, identifying, and motivating team members.
  • Flexible availability to accommodate a retail schedule.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, bend/stretch to stock shelves, stand/walk the sales floor for the entire shift, and work in a fragrance-filled environment.
  • Compliance with Sephora's dress code and policies as outlined in the Sephora Employee Handbook.

Compensation and Benefits: The annual base salary range for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. Individuals in this role may also be eligible for performance bonuses.
