Your Role at Sephora: As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Store Manager with the overall operations of the store, ensuring exceptional client service and driving sales performance. You will help lead a dedicated team of associates, cultivating a positive work atmosphere that promotes growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Store Manager in managing daily store operations to guarantee a seamless client experience.
- Assist in formulating and executing strategies aimed at boosting store sales and enhancing profitability.
- Help coordinate and oversee sales performance, service standards, and operational efficiency.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Aid in leading, coaching, and motivating a team of associates to achieve or surpass sales objectives.
- Conduct performance evaluations, manage employee growth, and provide continuous feedback.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure effective teamwork and attainment of store goals.
Client Satisfaction and Service:
- Guarantee high levels of client satisfaction through outstanding service delivery.
- Address client concerns and offer suitable resolutions.
- Support client loyalty initiatives to foster engagement and retention.
Store Standards and Compliance:
- Maintain exemplary store conditions and visual merchandising standards.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures to create a safe and efficient work environment.
- Uphold the Sephora brand's excellence in-store, ensuring a consistent and high-quality client experience.
Resource Management:
- Assist in managing inventory levels to guarantee product availability.
- Support the Store Manager in resource allocation and staffing to optimize productivity and performance.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Proven experience as a retail assistant manager.
- 3-5 years of experience in managing a high-volume, complex retail or hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership capabilities and business insight.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A talent for attracting, identifying, and motivating team members.
- Flexible availability to accommodate a retail schedule.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, bend/stretch to stock shelves, stand/walk the sales floor for the entire shift, and work in a fragrance-filled environment.
- Compliance with Sephora's dress code and policies as outlined in the Sephora Employee Handbook.
Compensation and Benefits: The annual base salary range for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. Individuals in this role may also be eligible for performance bonuses.
