Sales Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Assistant to join our team at AmeriCo. Group. This is an exciting opportunity to support our President and Head of Sales in all aspects of the business and their day-to-day matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between AmeriCo. Group teams and buyers from mass retailers to generate sales and manage purchase orders
  • Manage and submit cross-department requests to ensure completion to standards, including tracking and communicating updates in customer mater data, weekly ATS file and excess inventory availability, air table requests, order templates, and PO submission
  • Responsible for creating reports calculating costs, duty, and freight
  • Manage samples received and send/organize samples as needed, tracking samples with the Production team and sending samples to retail accounts
  • Support cross-functional teams such as Production, Design, etc. as needed
  • Gain understanding of customer requirements
  • Schedule travel and manage corporate calendars
  • Complete other duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in Administrative, Sales, or Sales Operations
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
  • Strong Excel skills, including experience with PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, and SUMIFS
  • Strong analytical skills, including retail math reporting and selling analysis
  • Proven ability to learn and work in new systems/platforms
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritizing projects based on timelines and due dates
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and influence with confidence
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced work environment

Compensation:

Annual salary starting at $55,000. The disclosed salary range is commensurate with experience and does not reflect the total compensation package. Our associates have access to other valuable benefits that our Human Resources team is happy to share with candidates during the interview process.
