About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Project Engineer to join our Vancouver Transportation and Public Works team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, providing design guidance, and managing a variety of civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, provide design guidance, and manage civil engineering projects
  • Communicate with clients regarding current projects and identify opportunities for future work
  • Supervise technical staff to deliver projects
  • Prepare and manage project scope, budget, schedule, and meet deliverables
  • Assist with business development efforts to cultivate strong client relationships
Requirements
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Washington and/or Oregon
  • 5+ years of public works transportation experience
  • Experience mentoring civil project engineers and EITs
  • Previous experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
  • Experience in specification writing and engineering cost estimate preparation
  • Business development experience and/or interest in helping to drive client relationships and new work with existing and new clients
