SUMMARY:

This role is a full-time, non-exempt hourly position dedicated to supporting the Army National Guard's Mission Command Training Program (MCTSP). The Mission Command Support Team (MCST) Trainer plays a crucial role in providing training on Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS) for the Mission Training Complex. Responsibilities include the creation of Training Support Packages (TSPs), delivering formal classroom instruction, providing over-the-shoulder (OTS) support, and ensuring systems integration for MTC-driven individual and collective training events, as well as the integration of Live, Virtual, Constructive, Gaming, and Mission Command (LVCG+MC) capabilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Conduct both formal and informal training sessions on MCIS during collective training events.
  • Develop Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) for the effective use of Mission Command systems.
  • Design voice and data system architectures to facilitate collaboration and information sharing within Tactical Operations Centers (TOC), Command Posts (CP), and War-fighter functional area cell systems/applications.
  • Create and modify training materials and documentation to enhance Gaming and Simulation capabilities.
  • Establish training environments tailored to specific unit requirements, including system setup, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and modifications as necessary.
  • Deliver single and multi-echelon collective training in accordance with established MTC TSPs.
  • Support US Army Mission Command capabilities, including but not limited to CPOF, FBCB2, BFT/BFT2, JCR, JBC-P, DCGS-A, TIGR, GCCSA, ICSF, AFATDS, AMDWS, TAIS, and JADOCS.
  • Maintain and update courseware documentation for Army Mission Command Systems (MCSs), ensuring alignment with each PM system TSP.
  • Report directly to the MCST Trainer Lead.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 2 years of teaching experience in Mission Command Systems, preferably as an assistant instructor for the same courseware.
  • A minimum of 4 years of service in or in support of the Army or other national defense services.
  • Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in one or more Mission Command Systems (MCSs) with practical operational experience.
  • Completion of a relevant course of study demonstrating experience with Army Mission Command Systems (MCSs) and associated software.
  • Current certification in Army training doctrine.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma (Associate's degree preferred).

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance and meet other eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
