About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team at Clarios, a leading manufacturer of car batteries. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that production requirements are met, staffing levels are maintained, employee relations are good, and a safe/clean work environment is maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a production department of 15-35 employees, facilitating team operations and ensuring a smooth workflow.
  • Coach and provide consistent application of employee relation policies and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Maintain a commitment to safety in all aspects of the job, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
  • Work 12-hour shifts, including night and day shifts, and be available to work overtime as needed to meet internal and external customer requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field.
  • Minimum one year of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Computer and inventory management experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in a heavy industrial environment is preferred.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed and adapt to changing production schedules.
