Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer II to join our team at ENGIE. As a key member of our operations group, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of our facilities and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide electrical, high-voltage, collection system, and substation support to operating renewable projects
  • Participate in the engineering, design, and construction review processes, including reviewing collection system, substation, and transmission line designs
  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of commissioning, maintenance, and standard operating procedures
  • Review maintenance records and recommend corrective actions to ensure reliability and compliance with applicable NERC standards
  • Develop structured feedback sessions for all lessons learned with the project team, including misoperations, root cause analysis, and safety-related events
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and utility experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of directly relevant engineering experience working with substations
  • Working knowledge of high and medium voltage power systems
  • Understanding of engineering standards, including NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE, and ANSI
