Position OverviewAs a Client Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in assisting both internal and external clients, as well as sales teams, with order processing, ensuring professionalism and efficiency in every interaction.
Key ResponsibilitiesTo excel in this role, you must be capable of fulfilling each key responsibility effectively, with or without reasonable accommodations. If you require accommodations, please inform Human Resources or your supervising manager.
Administrative Duties:
- Precisely manage and verify customer transactions within the order processing system, including orders, quotes, and returns.
- Keep accurate records of customer interactions and territory data.
- Generate and analyze reports as needed.
- Monitor scheduled delivery dates to guarantee timely shipments.
- Ensure compliance with company, state, and federal regulations.
- Understand and adhere to Accounts Receivable policies.
- Confirm pricing and terms according to established procedures and customer profitability profiles.
- Effectively multitask across various computer systems and communication platforms.
- Stay informed about company products, policies, and procedures.
Customer Engagement:
- Build strong collaborative relationships across various business functions, as well as with clients and manufacturing partners.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and sales support; promptly address customer inquiries and resolve issues.
- Relay important information from customers to the appropriate sales representatives or management.
- Assess customer needs and expectations to recommend suitable products and solutions.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
- May initiate outbound calls to existing clients to identify opportunities for additional products and services.
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Outstanding customer service and organizational abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in general computer applications, including MS Office.
Preferred:
- Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems.
Physical Requirements:
- Primarily involves operating a computer or office equipment throughout the workday.
- May occasionally require lifting packages up to 10 pounds, such as office supplies.
- Must effectively communicate with others in person, over the phone, and in writing.
- Ability to comprehend and accurately exchange information with colleagues, clients, and vendors.
- Must be able to read and interpret various electronic and written documents.
This role is situated in an office environment where team members are assigned to designated workspaces or collaborative areas. The primary workspace consists of desks, chairs, computers, and other office equipment.
Travel and AvailabilityThis position may involve minimal travel (up to 10%) for local sales support or training purposes.
