About the Position:

The Critical Care Program Administrator will oversee program management and provide essential administrative assistance for the Sound Physicians Critical Care initiative at designated healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

In this position, you will be tasked with:

Acting as the primary liaison among Sound Critical Care (SCC) hospital initiatives Supporting multiple SCC locations as assigned Delivering operational and administrative functions (such as coding, billing, payroll, physician scheduling support, data analysis, meeting coordination, documentation, calendar oversight, etc.) Providing program support that includes a primary site and virtual assistance to remote facilities, with occasional on-site involvement Collaborating with on-site hospital partners Assisting the Program Medical Director (PMD) by participating in SCC team meetings and collaborating with on-site hospital teams Organizing and preparing Excel and/or PowerPoint presentations for Sound or hospital leadership Coordinating and/or attending leadership meetings for Sound and/or the hospital Managing incoming communications, including calls, mail, messages, and faxes for the local SCC team to ensure priority items receive timely responses Conducting census reconciliation by gathering and distributing necessary data from providers, and engaging the PMD or Regional Medical Director (RMD) when providers do not submit census information promptly Recording or reviewing patient medical data through electronic medical records and/or data entry tasks using Microsoft Office Suite Organizing and maintaining the SCC office, including a reliable filing system for census management Assisting the PMD and/or RMD in maintaining and distributing the physician schedule within the program and ensuring real-time updates Facilitating onboarding for providers at local and remote SCC sites as needed Supporting the PMD in tracking and recording locum/temp labor shifts Assisting the PMD with the locum process, including agency contacts and credentialing follow-up Exemplifying exceptional customer service to both internal (hospital and Sound Physicians) and external stakeholders Aiding the SCC Regional Leadership Team and PMD in scheduling meetings and ensuring attendance Monitoring committee membership and attendance records for intensivists/providers on various committees Assisting the RMD, PMD, and Sound recruiter in organizing physician interviews and related logistics Supporting data management by tracking, trending, and preparing quality reports as required by SCC performance metrics Ensuring onboarding logistics are prepared for new intensivists Following up on the off-boarding process for clinicians who resign Coordinating and facilitating credentialing and privileging for hospitalists Ensuring that intensivists have the necessary access to hospital and Sound computer systems Performing other duties as assigned

Educational Background:

Professional Experience:

1-2 years of experience in healthcare customer service Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Compensation: $22-$30 per hour, based on experience, location, and program complexity.
