Job Summary:

Amerit Fleet Solutions is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for performing repairs and preventative maintenance on light and medium-duty vehicles. You will also be responsible for preparing vehicle records and reports, as well as complying with all applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on light and medium-duty vehicles
  • Prepare vehicle records and reports
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Inspect and perform work on the underparts of vehicles
  • Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience performing vehicle maintenance or possession of an auto or diesel technology diploma from an accredited technical school
  • Valid driver's license
  • CMV operation above 10K requiring medical certification
  • Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Excel, Word, Fleet Management Systems, and Email
  • Ability to work without direct supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Work Conditions:

Exposure to heavy traffic areas, considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes, and noise. Ability to move and position heavy objects, bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, and crawl to repair vehicles. Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
