About the Job

Solvenow Inc. is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Engineer to lead our transmission design team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical direction and support to the transmission design team on projects ranging from 69kV to 500kV
  • Mentor and develop team members to ensure their continued growth and success
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients and stakeholders
  • Implement quality control processes to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Support proposal development and contribute to business growth
  • Lead coordination and communication of project requirements and schedule needs across disciplines
  • Identify and communicate technical risks associated with projects
  • Oversight of production work required to meet deliverable milestones
  • Develop and communicate processes and tools to increase efficiency across the team and department
  • Create, improve, facilitate, and teach training courses to the project team and department
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program
  • At least 7 years of experience in transmission line design, with a completion of a master's degree in a related field may be substituted for one year of experience
  • Professional engineering license (PE)
  • Ability to effectively lead project teams and build strong relationships with internal and external clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in scheduling and budgeting
  • Proficiency with PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE software
  • Consulting or utility experience preferred
Estimated Salary:

$140,000 - $170,000 per annum, depending on experience
