Warehouse Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead our warehousing team and drive operational excellence in our food manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily warehousing operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and distribution of products.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, minimize costs, and maximize productivity in warehousing activities.
- Manage and lead warehouse staff, including supervisors, forklift operators, and logistics personnel; provide coaching, training, and performance management.
- Collaborate with supply chain, production, and logistics teams to ensure smooth coordination of materials, timely delivery, and accurate inventory levels.
- Monitor warehouse KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and meet operational targets.
- Ensure all warehousing operations are compliant with safety, health, and food safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, FDA, FSMA).
- Develop and manage the warehouse budget, ensuring cost control and proper allocation of resources.
- Implement best practices for inventory control to minimize shrinkage, maintain accurate stock levels, and optimize space utilization.
- Oversee maintenance and operation of warehouse equipment, ensuring preventive maintenance programs are in place.
- Lead and support warehouse automation and technology initiatives to improve operational effectiveness.
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety practices are maintained.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and transportation partners.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience leading large teams and managing complex warehouse operations.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., WMS, ERP) and warehouse automation technologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with other departments to achieve operational goals.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, health and safety standards, and best practices in warehousing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to manage budgets and financial performance related to warehousing operations.
- Bilingual Spanish is required.
