Job Summary

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a highly skilled Bachelors Level Social Worker to join our team at MCI-Norfolk in Norfolk, MA. As a key member of our Behavioral Health Unit, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide proactive and compassionate care to our patient population.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide crisis stabilization and complete intakes and on-going evaluations
  • Participate in monthly behavioral health calls and work collaboratively with the medical team to determine overall treatment
  • Perform risk assessment of inmates and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams
  • Assist in planning and implementing programs and projects
  • Prepare documentation, records, and reports as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work
  • Preferred two-year employment in a social work capacity in a public or private agency or equivalent
  • Must receive a satisfactory background investigation report
