Overview of the Role
Rio Grande Regional Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. As a key member of our healthcare family, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients.
About the Job
- We are seeking a Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery who will work collaboratively with our healthcare team to provide exceptional care to our patients.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
- The Registered Nurse will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data, developing and prioritizing the plan of care, and implementing interventions to achieve measurable goals.
- The successful candidate will also be responsible for identifying educational needs, implementing and evaluating learning, and documenting patient/family education.
- The ideal candidate will be a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required or must be currently enrolled.
- Current RN license in Texas and/or current Compact License.
- 1 year current L&D experience required or you will go through a training program, if one is available.
- Current BCLS Certification Required.
- Current ACLS and NRP Certifications Required.
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring course within 90 days of hire date.
