Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified MRI Technologist PRN to join our team at Texas Health Dallas. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining MRI equipment, preparing patients for exams, and ensuring high-quality images are produced.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
- Produce high-quality images through proper technique and attention to detail
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- 1 year of experience in Medical Imaging, preferably in MRI
- ARRT certification in MRI or ARMRIT certification
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
