Position Overview
The Server plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to guests in a vibrant dining atmosphere. This position involves managing multiple tables and ensuring a seamless dining experience for a varying number of patrons throughout the shift.

Key Responsibilities
Servers are expected to be friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive to create a welcoming environment. Responsibilities include:
  • Understanding the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods.
  • Efficiently taking and processing orders, presenting checks, and handling payments.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of tables to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • For those serving alcoholic beverages, a comprehensive understanding of state liquor laws and responsible serving practices is essential.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Possession of a valid TEAM, TIPs, or Title 4 certification for alcohol service.
  • Valid Food Handler Card from the relevant health authority.
  • Commitment to confidentiality regarding guest information.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment documentation, background checks, and a math assessment.
  • Ability to carry a fully loaded serving tray and navigate through tight spaces.
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard terminology and practices.
  • At least one year of experience in a casual to fine dining setting.

Additional Skills
Ideal candidates will also possess:
  • Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds regularly.
  • Flexibility to bend, stoop, and reach in confined areas.
  • Endurance to remain on feet for extended periods, up to four hours.
  • Willingness to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Adaptability to varying temperature conditions and noise levels.
