As the Casting Specialist for Production Services, you will play a vital role in the recruitment process for our Stage Staff department. Your responsibilities will include evaluating resumes, conducting interviews, and collaborating with the Crew Scheduling team to ensure optimal staffing levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with Crew Scheduling to maintain adequate staffing levels across the fleet.
  • Conduct interviews for various positions, assessing candidates' qualifications and technical expertise.
  • Evaluate the current stage staff roster for potential internal promotions and ensure timely assessments for higher positions.
  • Review performance appraisals for onboard team members to facilitate individual growth and development.
  • Participate in recruitment events to enhance the applicant pool for critical roles.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with external vendors in Entertainment Technology for candidate referrals.
  • Advise on potential organizational structure changes in comparison to industry standards.
  • Review and update position descriptions for shipboard team members as the company evolves.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Entertainment Technology or Theater Management.
  • At least two years of experience in live entertainment technology operations and installations.
  • A minimum of two years in a casting role for support technicians in the entertainment sector.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Familiarity with online project management tools (e.g., Airtable, Wrike, Asana).
  • Knowledgeable in the operation of entertainment technical equipment across various specialties: Audio, Lighting/Video, and Stage Rigging/Automation.
  • Adept at evaluating candidate suitability through comprehensive assessments.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Work Environment

This is a hybrid position based in a location that allows for office attendance three days a week.
