The UC Health Same Day Surgery Department is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our 27-bay unit. As a Clinical Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring excellent patient care, maintaining efficient patient flow, and supervising a team of nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including rounding in SDS and PACU, attending periop safety huddles, and making plans for flex staff and boarders.
  • Staff clinically as needed, facilitate patient throughput between PACU and SDS, and order supplies.
  • Conduct resource rounds, perform chart audits, assist with onboarding new hires, and collaborate with the manager for corrective action and annual evaluations.
  • Process departmental maintenance requests, conduct accreditation compliance checks, and participate in regulatory surveys.
