The Healthcare Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a crucial role in identifying and attracting top-tier candidates through various channels such as physician databases, online platforms, job boards, and direct outreach. This position requires strong organizational skills to effectively manage a pipeline of potential candidates while striving to exceed recruitment targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop creative strategies to address recruitment challenges and initiate new programs.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand hiring needs and align recruitment strategies with the organization’s objectives.
  • Leverage multiple sourcing methods, including digital marketing, job boards, direct outreach, industry conferences, and community engagement, to attract qualified candidates.
  • Maintain a robust network within the Hospitalist and Emergency Medicine sectors.
  • Facilitate weekly recruitment meetings with practice leaders, including Medical Directors and operational teams, to ensure alignment with hiring goals.
  • Work with internal teams to enhance the recruitment process and improve overall effectiveness.
  • Conduct comprehensive candidate evaluations, including resume assessments and interviews.
  • Provide prompt and constructive feedback to candidates, making informed decisions regarding their qualifications.
  • Negotiate employment contracts and compensation packages with prospective candidates.
  • Partner with the onboarding team to ensure a seamless transition for newly hired physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs).
  • Participate in national and local conferences to network, stay updated on industry trends, and promote our organization.
  • Conduct facility tours for candidates to showcase our offerings and opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future openings.
  • Conduct interviews via phone or in-person.
  • Assess candidates based on interview insights and resume evaluations.
  • Engage in conferences, job fairs, and recruitment events.
  • Travel may be required to attend conferences and conduct candidate facility tours.

Qualifications:

  • Effective communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • High energy and enthusiasm for recruitment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote team.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with healthcare industry regulations and trends.
  • Proven track record of meeting recruitment quotas.
  • Ability to collaborate with professionals across various locations.
  • Exhibit a growth mindset and team-oriented approach.
  • Capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required.

Experience:

  • At least two (2) years of experience in healthcare recruitment.
  • Experience in Hospital Medicine and/or Emergency Medicine recruitment is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Locums Tenens is strongly preferred.
