We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as a Professor of the Practice in Defense Management and Information Warfare. The successful candidate will have a strong background in defense acquisition and information sciences, with experience in teaching and research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach principles of defense acquisition and information sciences technology and architecture development and management related courses at a graduate level.
  • Develop and implement innovative distance learning methods and technologies.
  • Conduct research and publish papers in the field of defense management and information sciences.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement academic programs.
Requirements
  • Graduate degree in a discipline that supports the departmental instructional needs.
  • Defense acquisition management experience and expertise in technology innovation and adoption.
  • Extensive experience in distance learning methods and technologies.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Recent fleet operational experience with allied and coalition partners.
  • Demonstrated reputation in the community of practice for specialized domain expertise, and evidence of teaching aptitude.
  • Subject matter expert in information warfare theory.
  • Extensive experience in unmanned systems.
  • Senior Service College (or equivalent) graduate.
  • Professional certifications consistent with program management, operational planning and technology adoption.
