About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Optical Engineer to join our Illumination Engineering Group at Synopsys. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge illumination systems using LightTools and other relevant software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the skills and capabilities of the Illumination Engineering team to potential customers and emerging markets.
  • Design highly multidimensional illumination systems using LightTools and other relevant software.
  • Develop LightTools macros and user-defined optical properties (UDOPs) to extend the software's capability.
  • Assess systems-level and fabrication issues related to illumination optical design forms and approaches.
  • Design illumination optical system hardware, including material selection, fabrication methods, and tolerance allocation.
