Key Responsibilities:

  • Accelerate the development of contracts, amendments, and Statements of Work (SOWs) to support business growth and objectives.
  • Support the migration to and implementation of new vendor contract database software, utilizing data in existing company databases to ensure seamless integration.
  • Perform data entry and validation of records to maintain accurate and up-to-date contract information.
  • Maintain solid internal and external stakeholder relationships by handling their questions and concerns with speed and professionalism.
  • Research and troubleshoot problems related to contract issues, gathering records and files as needed.
  • Work with Accounts Payable to ensure accuracy of vendor invoices and develop reports to track payments, contract renewals, and other obligations.
  • Research background information related to vendor contract issues and gather records and files to support contract management.
  • Draft, revise, and edit contractual documents to ensure compliance with business requirements, legal provisions, and corporate policies.
  • Monitor contract renewals and other key contract milestones to ensure timely execution and compliance.
  • Identify issues and coordinate resolutions with the transactions internal negotiation team to ensure successful contract management.
  • Review and understand business requirements, legal provisions, and corporate policies to ensure contract compliance.
  • Take responsibility for consultation on and escalation of contractual terms and conditions to Senior Management, including provision of current and potential legal and business issues and/or risks.

Requirements:

  • Contract management experience (3+ years)
  • SAP and/or extensive contract database experience REQUIRED (2+ years)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Data entry, analysis, and auditing/validation skills
  • Experience in problem solving and root cause analysis
  • Strong organization and documentation skills
  • PC and Windows software experience
