Job Description:

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining the upkeep and appearance of apartment homes, buildings, and grounds. Key duties include:

  • Repairing flooring, drywall, appliances, plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC units;
  • Troubleshooting and repairing safety and security systems, including lighting, locks, and smoke/CO2 alarms;
  • Cleaning and painting interior and exterior surfaces, as well as sweeping and mopping floors;
  • Maintaining and repairing pool equipment and performing other landscape/grounds maintenance tasks;
  • Performing unit turnovers to ensure properties meet quality standards upon move-in;
  • Assisting with required periodic inspections and collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Key Qualifications
  • At least one year of experience in a similar role, preferably within residential property management or a related field;
  • Valid driver's license and ability to wear a respirator;
  • High school diploma or equivalent certificate required; technical school certification preferred;
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Google Drive and GMail;
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
