Front Desk Agent

The Marriott Anchorage Downtown Hotel is seeking a skilled and friendly Front Desk Agent to join their team. As a key member of the front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and confirm guest check-ins and check-outs, room reservations, requests, changes, and cancellations.
  • Secure payment and verify billing.
  • Activate and file room keys.
  • Process guest requests and relay messages.
  • Print contingency lists for emergency situations.
  • Explain room features to guests and provide directions to property amenities and local areas of interest.
  • Resolve outstanding requests or problems from the previous day.
  • Run and review daily reports and logs.
  • Accept and record wake-up call requests.
  • Count bank at the beginning and end of shift and secure bank.
  • Process payment types, adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges.
  • Notify Loss Prevention/Security of guest reports of theft.

Requirements:
  • High school or equivalent.

Two years of customer service experience is required for this position. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team environment and provide exceptional customer service.
