Job Summary

At Skyworks Solutions, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Test Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Engineering Services department, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating lab activities in support of product development.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Schedule Work Assignments: Plan and schedule work assignments to minimize downtime of production equipment.
  2. Lab Management: Manage and coordinate lab activities in support of product development, including setup and reconfiguration of test benches for project-specific needs.
  3. Resource Management: Determine short-term and long-term lab needs to support new product development, manage automated test systems, RF component inventory, and yearly calibration schedules.
  4. ESD Policy Implementation: Participate in the definition and implementation of corporate ESD policies.
  5. Team Collaboration: Lead and/or participate in cross-functional teams to support engineering test projects.
  6. Lab Operations: Lead lab's day-to-day operations, including but not limited to Lab Organization, Test schedule, Quality Standard compliance, ESD.
  7. Process Improvement: Ensure lab processes are optimized, efficient, and have a continuous improvement mindset.
Requirements
  1. Experience: Candidate must possess 5+ years related experience.
  2. Education: Associates' Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics preferred.
  3. RF Test Experience: Previous experience with RF tests and measurements.
  4. Equipment Knowledge: Previous experience with the following equipment/tools: RF spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, multimeters, power meters, RF amplifiers, power supplies, probe stations, and RF sources is required.
  5. RF Component Knowledge: An understanding of RF component characteristics, performance advantages, and trade-offs.
  6. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills.
  7. Critical Thinking: Strong critical thinker with a focus on process improvement.
