As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounting activities for our company, including managing payroll, processing payments, creating AIA Pay Applications, reconciling bank statements, and maintaining the accuracy of the general ledger.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full cycle of accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Process payroll for 20 employees through Paylocity.
  • Process payments to subcontractors and vendors weekly.
  • Create AIA Pay Applications with Lien Waivers to bill clients biweekly.
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit cards monthly.
  • Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger.
  • Billing employee hours on timesheets to various projects.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements.
  • Create journal entries for all accounts.
  • Monitor cash flow.
  • Manage all business licenses, insurance policies, and collect documents for any audits by our third-party administrators.
Requirements:
  • 5 years' experience bookkeeping in the construction industry.
  • 3 years' experience in QuickBooks Online and Procore (or similar construction ERP).
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • WIP and AIA Billing experience.
