Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare tax returns for individuals, fiduciaries, partnerships, corporations, and closely held businesses
  • Conduct tax planning and projections for all applicable entities
  • Research and respond to Federal and State tax notices
  • Analyze general ledger accounts as part of overall work paper preparation
  • Prepare workpapers to support tax returns and compiled and reviewed financial statements
  • Perform compilations and reviews of client's financial statements on GAAP and tax basis
Requirements
  • 3+ years in tax preparation and workpaper preparation
  • BS Accounting
  • CPA License a plus
  • USA work authorization
  • Proficient with tax preparation software (ProSystem FX, preferred), accounting software (Sage/Peachtree and QuickBooks Online preferred) and strong Excel Skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information

  • Starting Salary between $60,000 and $70,000 with bonuses and increases commensurate with experience and performance
